Oghmium (oghmium.com) is a free, fan-made reference site for Mortal Online 2. It has no accounts, no ads and no analytics. This page explains what little data is involved.
Who is responsible
The site is run privately by its owner. For any privacy question or request, contact post@oghmium.com. Oghmium is not affiliated with Star Vault AB.
What we collect
- Nothing you type is sent to us. Searches, filters, calculator amounts and settings stay in your browser.
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically logs technical data when your browser requests a page: IP address, date and time, the page requested, browser type and referrer. This is used only to deliver the site and keep it secure, and is deleted according to the host's routine.
- Issue reports. If you use Report an issue, we store what you write, the page address and the time. Your IP address is only kept as a one-way hash for a short time to stop spam. Reports are only read by the site owner and are deleted when no longer needed.
- Your choices on this device. Theme, panel sizes and similar settings are saved in your browser's local storage, only if you accept. See Cookies & storage.
Third parties
- Google Fonts. If you choose Accept all, the site loads its fonts from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.). Your browser then sends your IP address to Google. With Only necessary the site uses your system fonts and nothing is loaded from Google.
- GitHub is used to publish the site's files. It receives no data about visitors.
Legal basis
Server logs: our legitimate interest in running a secure website (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Saved settings and Google Fonts: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time under Settings → Privacy settings.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete personal data about you, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not keep accounts, the only data we could hold is in server logs. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live or work. A list of all authorities in the EU/EEA is on the European Data Protection Board website (in Norway, where the site is run, this is Datatilsynet).
